Alkanes

This is the first of a series of mindmaps I created showing the important details of organic reactions. I had to memorise about 50 equations for my A level chemistry exams and having graphic mindmaps really helped. Throughout the mindmaps I kept the colour scheme consistent so that it was easy to see the different reactants (purple) , products (blue), conditions (orange) and reaction types (yellow). The short form equations are also shown in red and green. The homologous series, alkane, is in the centre with ethane being used as an example.

Bismillahirahmanirahim

Hi!

Mindmapping is one of my interests and has helped some of my studies at college. The aim of Naqshah.com is to share my mindmaps which will be based mainly on materials engineering but will include other subjects such as A-level physics and chemistry and even some French. By doing this I hope to inspire you and others to get creative and become mindmap bloggers yourselves.

Enjoy the site.
